+ $10Before Your Inspection
A little preparation goes a long way. Make sure utilities are on, pathways to the attic, crawlspace, and electrical panel are clear, and any pets are secured or out of the home. If you won’t be present, just let us know how we’ll get access. None of this is required, but it helps us move efficiently and gives you a more complete picture of the property once your inspection wraps up.
On the Day of Your Inspection
Most residential walkthroughs take between two and four hours, depending on the size and age of the home. Our home inspectors work through the property systematically, checking the roof, exterior, structure, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, attic, and interior components, while documenting everything as we go.
After Your Inspection
Once the walkthrough is finished, we’ll talk through the biggest findings with you before we ever send the report. That way, you’re not staring at a 40-page document trying to figure out what actually matters. Your full digital report follows shortly after, organized by category with photos attached directly to each finding so nothing gets lost in translation.
5 Reasons Why a Home Inspection is Right For You
Negotiations Leveraged
Buyers can use the inspection report to negotiate a better price or ask for repairs, while sellers can choose to address issues before listing to justify their asking price.
Ensures Your Safety
A home inspection evaluates critical safety concerns such as electrical hazards, carbon monoxide risks, mold, and structural integrity.
Prepares You For the Future
We can point out components near the end of their lifespan (such as HVAC systems or water heaters) so you can budget accordingly.
Garners Trust
Sellers who conduct pre-listing inspections can show transparency and build buyer trust, potentially leading to quicker offers and smoother negotiations.
Grants Peace of Mind
Knowing the condition of the home helps you feel confident in your purchase or sale and reduces surprises after the transaction.
